Kye recently stopped by the KZNG studios to visit with Mr. Dick Antoine about First Step’s 2012 Walk for Kids.? KYE-YAC International is the presenting sponsor of the walk this year.? Each year the walk raises funds for First Step Arkansas.? KYE-YAC has seen first hand how First Step has changed lives for the better for many families in Arkansas who have children with disabilities.
The 2012 Walk kicked of May 3 and will go through September 6th.? There are 75 community teams walking for the event and each member of the team is pledging to walk 100 miles in 4 months!? Kye told Mr. Antoine about other fundraising techniques teams are utilizing to raise even more money for First Step, including raffles, various competitions – including Kye’s favorite – a wing eating contest!!? Tammy Dean of First Step and a few special guests joined Kye in the studio with Mr. Antoine.
