The KYE-YAC board met with the Hot Springs Family YMCA Leadership Staff to learn about their Youth Development and Educational programs.
Executive Director, Mr. Peter Davin; Ms. Annmarie Kaylo, Associate Executive Director; and Ms. Lisa Autry, Education/Childcare Director, discussed the importance of youth development in our community, and the promotion of healthier living.? KYE-YAC’s board toured the facility, and met several of the children that the programs benefit.? KYE-YAC was impressed by the YMCA’s commitment to give each child the opportunity for a better chance at educational success, personal enrichment and social development.
After meeting with some of the children in the educational programs, KYE-YAC’s board left with the satisfaction and knowledge that children in our community have an outlet and support system to help ensure a brighter future. ?KYE-YAC was so encouraged and impressed with the positive impact the Hot Springs YMCA is making on local youth that they made a donation to the Youth Development Program and will continue to support the organization in the future.
